Affiliate Disclosure
In compliance with FTC guidelines (USA), ASA CAP Code (UK), EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, ASIC RG 234 (Australia), and equivalent consumer protection laws in all jurisdictions AURUM serves.
Some links on AURUM are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This never costs you extra. It does not change our price data or rankings. We only feature dealers we would genuinely recommend.
1. What Is an Affiliate Relationship?
An affiliate (or referral) relationship means AURUM has an agreement with a third-party dealer, platform, or service where we receive a commission or referral fee if a user clicks a designated link on AURUM and subsequently makes a qualifying purchase or registration.
The commission is paid by the merchant — it is not added to the price you pay. You receive the same price as any other customer.
2. How to Identify Affiliate Links
Affiliate links on AURUM are identified by:
- An "AD" label or "Sponsored" tag displayed adjacent to the link
- A disclosure statement in the section where the link appears: "This link may earn AURUM a commission"
- Buttons or widgets labelled "Buy Gold", "Compare Dealers", or similar commercial CTAs
We aim to make affiliate links clearly distinguishable from non-commercial links and editorial content.
3. What We Earn Commissions On
AURUM may earn referral commissions in the following categories:
- Gold & silver bullion dealers — when you purchase physical gold, silver bars, or coins through a referred link
- Digital gold platforms — when you register or invest through a referred link
- Gold ETF / investment platforms — when you open an account through a referred link
- Storage & vault services — when you arrange precious metals storage through a referred link
- Financial data / news subscriptions — when you subscribe to a partner service through a referred link
4. Editorial Independence — What Commissions Do Not Affect
Affiliate commissions have absolutely no influence on the price data we display, the rankings or comparisons we produce, the dealers we list or exclude, or any written analysis or commentary. Our editorial team selects and reviews dealers based on reputation, pricing transparency, and regulatory standing — not commission rates.
We do not accept payment to improve a dealer's position in any comparison, ranking, or featured listing. We do not publish fake reviews or misleadingly favourable content in exchange for commercial consideration.
